DeWaal 2001 Top of the Hill Pinotage (Stellenbosch)

Like the regular Pinotage, this leads with an aroma of bran flakes. Black plum, blackberry jam and caramel are soon to follow, with a cool, eucalyptus like char on the finish. Seems to have more finesse, but less weight than its compatriot.
