Dewitt 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley)

This is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, aged in American oak, half of it new. Inviting in spicy pepper and violet perfume, the medium body is awash in black cherry and berry, with a layer of subtle smoke popping in along the long finish. Virginie Boone
