This vintage is accented by 8% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc, aged a year in French oak, much of it neutral. Earth dominates on the nose before thick, sultry blackberry, cassis and tobacco join rich, firm tannin and punches of oak for a satisfyingly approachable experience.
