Dirler-Cadé 2014 Brut Nature Sparkling (Crémant d'Alsace)

The nose is shy and gives a mere but perfumed glimpse of melon and green apple. The palate then comes in with seductive, creamy depth of autolytic richness. This revels in its rounded, baked apple flavors, backed by salty yeasty richness. Yet it remains bone dry and slender. What an elegant, intriguing wine. Lovely now, certain to evolve. Drink now through 2028. Anne Krebiehl MW
