Diwald 2019 Ried Goldberg Grüner Veltliner (Wagram)

A yeasty funkiness dominates the nose but hints of white pepper and pear also peep through. The palate is slender, concentrated, taut and textured. Within this tightness, the core has equal parts of freshness and spice: vivid white pepper, crushed herb and vivid, juicy lemon. The yeasty intensity reappears on the long finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
