Domaine Alain Gautheron 2018 Vaillons Premier Cru (Chablis)

Lemon pith and zest spread subtle, fresh but ripe perfume on this wine's nose. More air brings a notion of ripe Mirabelle plum. The palate also shows ripeness but likewise is pervaded by aromatic, rounded lemon brightness. Underneath a layer of grounding, cooling chalkiness lingers. Anne Krebiehl MW
