Domaine Albert Mann 2017 Vieilles Vignes Furstentum Grand Cru Gewurztraminer (Alsace)

Mandarin peel and pith, juicy peach and Damask rose petal all unite on this wine's richly aromatic nose. The palate adds the juicy sweetness of Mirabelle compote as well as a wonderfully countering note of bitterness. Something heightened and pristine about that bittersweet core seems to radiate freshness and energy. The wine is medium sweet and concentrated. Anne Krebiehl MW
