Domaine Arlaud 2018 Grand Cru (Clos de la Roche)

Woodsmoke and vanilla appear first on the nose of this wine but are soon superceded by aromas of tart red berry and forest fruit. The palate comes in with drive and elegance. Silky tannins carry a savory note and almost tingling freshness. Despite the concentration and tightly woven, supple tannins, the wine has a sense of toned svelteness. The berry perfume lingers long.
