With its tiny holdings scattered over many different vineyards, Domaine Auther is able to produce a bewildering array of wines. This from the Kirchweg vineyard is ripe, full of the ripe, condensed flavors that come from a maceration of the whole fruits before fermentation, and just plain delicious. It will benefit from two more years' aging.
