Domaine Barmès-Buecher 2016 Réserve Pinot Noir (Alsace)

The nose is very shy but gives the slightest promise of ripe, red fruit. Red cherry appears in full splendor on the palate, edged by racy, exciting freshness and superfine but crunchy tannins. The body remains slender but there is a sensuous, warm core of ripe fruit. Lovely now but will develop over the coming five years. Drink 2018–2025. Anne Krebiehl MW
