A blend of Grenache (60%), Mourvèdre (30%) and Syrah (10%), this elegant red is more finesse than powerhouse. Blackberry and plum flavors are ripe but restrained, etched by hints of dried thyme and crushed earth. Lingering notes of olive and licorice lead a long, softly tannic finish. Ready now but should hold through 2028. Anna Lee C. Iijima
