Domaine Benjamin et David Duclaux 2016 Maison-Rouge (Côte Rôtie)

Cellar Selection

Notes of dark chocolate , smoke and char are enticing on the nose, amplifying flavors of cassis liqueur and plum on the palate. It's glossy and concentrated but not dense in texture, elevated by zesty acidity and fine, firm tannins. A bit primary in youth it should gain complexity 2022 and improve well beyond 2035.
