Domaine Bott-Geyl 2015 Vendanges Tardives Sonnenglanz Grand Cru Gewurztraminer (Alsace)

Cellar Selection

Earth, beeswax, honey and candied lemon peel unite on this wine's heady, intense nose. More air brings notions of barley sugar that also characterize the rich, sweet palate of this late-harvest style wine. The concentration of flavors is immense. Candied-peel freshness with piercingly sweet acidity cuts like diamond and makes this compelling and rich. Lovely now, the wine is so concentrated that time has nothing on it. Drink by 2050.
