91pointsDomaine Chantepierre 2019 Tavel

Editors' Choice

Heady aromas of blackberry, dried cherries and anise extend from nose to finish in this intensely pink wine. A blend of both red grapes (Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah) and white grapes (Clairette and Picpoul) fermented together, it's a juicy, intensely berry-flavored wine peppered by spice and dried herb notes. Structured, mineral and delicately tannic on the finish, it's a year-round rosé that can accompany even hearty meals of lamb or game. Anna Lee C. Iijima
