Domaine Charles Frey 2017 Vendanges Tardives Frankstein Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Blossom honey is the first impression to come though on the shy nose of this wine. With more air this is rounded out with gentle muskiness and rich notes of Mirabelle compote. The palate of this late-harvest style brims with honeyed sweetness countered by candied-lemon concentration. This wine is sweet, intense, elegant, bold and totally aromatic with its freshness.
