This indigenous red blend has an exotic but appealing character, starting with aromas of juicy dark berries, cinnamon and cocoa. On the palate, a spicy array of cherry, plum, pepper and chocolate is assertive and needs hearty food for balance. This wine could age but is a good, robust drink now.
