This inky, black-berried Syrah offers concentrated cassis flavor struck by cool, smoky tones of crushed granite, anise and violet perfume. Fermented from destemmed grapes and matured in 100% new oak, it's a slinky, sexy sip wrapped in layers of fine, gossamer tannins. Approachable now but likely to improve through 2035. Anna Lee C.
