Domaine de Coyeux 2009 Muscat de Beaumes de Venise

Intense floral perfume and ripe muscat notes are lifted by a whiff of alcohol in this vin doux naturel. A decade after bottling, it's luscious but shows maturation notes with apricot and honeysuckle flavors a bit candied rather than fresh. Plush on the palate, it lingers with some heat on the finish. Enjoy now. Anna Lee C. Iijima
