92pointsDomaine de la Tourade 2017 Red (Vacqueyras)

Intensely ripe red cassis and plum perfume this supple, mouthwatering Grenache-dominant blend. Like its sister bottling, the Euse, it's a fruity sip that's plump with red-cherry and berry flavors, but a touch more sprightly and piquant. The finish is marked by a lift of minerality and firm, bracing tannins. It drinks well already but should meld through 2027. Anna Lee C. Iijima
