94pointsDomaine Drouhin Oregon 2016 Louise Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

Cellar Selection

This is the top of the line at DDO, an aromatic, almost sultry reserve barrel selection. The percentage of new oak seems to be higher than in the other 2016s, with brilliant cherry fruit matching the sweet toast. Best guess is tuck a few bottles away and start drinking in the mid-2020s; from there it could go another decade. Paul Gregutt
