This is a wine with great character, from the rare Fer Servidou grape native to France's southwest. It has weight and richness, similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, without losing any of its red berry fruit freshness. Smoky tannins and flavors from the wood aging are still there, giving promise of a wine that will develop. Drink from 2018.
