While initially quite closed on the nose, this blend of Grenache (80%), Carignan (10%) and Mourvèdre (10%) yields perfume and fruit with just a bit of time and aeration. Black plum and preserved cherry flavors are ripe and luscious but shaded by savory notes of bramble, sage and thyme. The finish is quite gripping with tannins. Best enjoyed now–2027. Anna Lee C.
