Domaine Fernand Engel 2016 Gloeckelberg Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Ripe, juicy, yellow plums and mellow pear are suggested on the generous nose of this wine. The palate then explodes with medium-sweet notions of ripe, yellow plum. A lemony edge lends freshness but the fruity exuberance is barely contained and lasts joyously throughout the fresh but sweet finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
