Domaine Fernand Engel 2017 Vendanges Tardives Muscat (Alsace)

Apricot compote notes on the nose of this wine have an overtone of blossom honey and hint of rose petal. The palate offers rich, concentrated sweetness, with the tell-tale honey notes of this late-harvest style. All this is countered by equally concentrated freshness to create a harmonious balance. This wine will sing with pungent cheese or a stone-fruit-based dessert. Anne Krebiehl MW
