Domaine Fernand Engel 2018 Meyerhof Pinot Noir (Alsace)

Dark cherry notes, almost with a tinge of earth and licorice, dominate the nose of this wine. The palate comes in with juicy slenderness but ample warmth. Brightness and fruit are present in equal measure and make for a refreshing but mellow wine. The finish is dry and lasting. Anne Krebiehl MW
