Domaine Fernand Engel 2018 Praelatenberg Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

A touch of peach plays around notes of dried lemon rind and crushed chamomile on the vivid nose of this wine. The palate also carries a touch of peachy gentleness, its cushioning ripeness making the lemon rind more pliable and softer. This wine is gentle and caressing but concentrated, capturing both ripeness and rapier freshness. The finish is bone dry and incisive. Anne Krebiehl MW
