Domaine Ferret 2016 Tête de Cru Clos des Prouges (Pouilly-Fuissé)

From a five-acre vineyard in the village of Fuissé, this wine is rich and full bodied, but also taut in a mineral character typical of the appellation. White fruits contrast with the acidity, touches of toast from wood fermentation and aging and the final tight aftertaste. Give it time and drink from 2021. Roger Voss
