Domaine François Schmitt 2014 Pfingstberg Grand Cru Paradis Riesling (Alsace)

Lemon notes are subdued by earth on the nose but they shine on a rather textured, palate that needs some air to open up. There is concentration at the core and generous freshness that lights up everything. Subtle but totally worthwhile with a clean lemon finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
