Domaine Gresser 2015 Wiebelsberg Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

#68 Top 100 Cellar Selections 2020
Return to List

On the nose of this wine, the ripeness and headiness of Williams pear notes are immediately apparent. It also offers freshness and the gorgeously open aroma of that Williams pear suffused with lime zest. On the palate the concentration is immense but elegant. Gentle sweetness is balanced by freshness and backed by ample fruit. The finish is balanced. Lovely now, this powerful but precise wine is certain to evolve further. Drink through 2035.
