A Grenache-dominant blend of up to seven regional grapes, this profoundly ripe red floods the palate with luscious black cherry and plum flavors. Fermented in whole clusters and aged partially in oak casks for 18 months, it's deeply fruity but earthen, too, shaded by smoky tea leaves and crushed stone. Tannins are firm and gripping now but should meld as the wine improves over the coming decade. Biodynamic. Anna Lee C. Iijima
