Cutting mineral notes contrast plush yellow apple and pear in this rich, almost glycerol white. A blend of Grenache (70%), Roussanne (28%), Bourboulenc (1%) and Clairette (1%) sourced entirely from sandy soils, it's an opulent, intensely fruity wine marked by freshness. Lovely now–2023 for its youthful exuberance, but it should gain savory complexities through 2030 and hold further still. Anna Lee C. Iijima
