Domaine Les Sibu 2017 Gigondas

Rich blackberry and plum are accented by hints of clove, vanilla and dried mushroom in this ripe but nuanced red. An 80–20 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre sourced from sandy clay soils, it's a luscious sip balanced by crisp mineral tones. The finish lingers on ripe, persistent tannins. At peak now through 2027, the wine should hold further. Anna Lee C. Iijima
