Bergheim is particularly noted for its Gewürztraminer, and it is not hard to see why with this concentrated, spicy example. The lychees and smoke aromas set the scene, and the flavors of spice, toast and exotic spices continue the story. It is relatively restrained at the moment, because it is young, but this will develop impressively over the next five years. Imported by Lauber Imports.
