Domaine Martin Clerc 2017 Collet (Côte Rôtie)

Intensely ripe, luscious cassis and mulberry flavors maintain the same perfumed, spicy tone of this producer's Coteau de Tupin bottling, but there's a breathtaking freshness here accentuated by a pleasantly green, herbaceous tone. It's a moderately full-bodied, freshly concentrated sip that finishes on fine, feathery tannins. Ready now but should hold through 2030. Anna Lee C. Iijima
