Domaine Michelas St Jemm 2011 La Chasselière (Crozes-Hermitage)

Editors' Choice

At six years of age, this wine shows a gorgeous nose of smoked meats, blueberries and espresso. It's medium to full in body, with a long, dusty finish. This wine is still firmly tannic—it probably will always have a dry edge to it—but pair it with grilled or roasted lamb or beef and it should be fine. Drink now–2028. Joe Czerwinski
