Domaine Ostertag 2013 Fronholz Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Fully ripe, juicy pears glow from the core of this balanced, rounded wine, with an edge of marzipan, bitter almond and a wonderfully textured center. The palate is rich but dry and stays on the side of restraint, despite the fullness. Anne Krebiehl MW
