Domaine Ostertag 2015 Fronholz Gewurztraminer (Alsace)

The nose is reticent but reveals glimpses of passion fruit and peach. These are intensified by honeyed richness on the concentrated palate. Flavors are luscious and round but tangy notes of grapefruit zest give tension and ease to this richness. The finish is all about freshness despite being medium sweet. The peach lasts and lasts.
