Domaine Pélaquié 2017 Red (Lirac)

Succulent raspberry and red plum flavors abound in this unabashedly juicy, fruity blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre. It's primary in fruit but accented by hints of sun-charred garrigue. The finish is framed by fine, feathery tannins. Immediately approachable but should hold through 2023. Anna Lee C. Iijima
