Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet 2016 Hermitage

#92 Top 100 Cellar Selections 2020
Return to List

Heady layers of cinnamon, toast and vanilla lend an extravagant feel to succulent black-plum and preserved cherry flavors in this wine. Matured in 50% new oak for two years, it's lavish and profoundly ripe but preserves a backbone of firm acidity throughout. Gripped by firm tannins on the finish, the wine will benefit from cellaring and drink well through 2035. Anna Lee C. Iijima
