Domaine Pouillon 2019 Blanc du Moulin White (Columbia Gorge (WA))

This is a blend of 58% Viognier and 42% Roussanne, coming from a cooler appellation in eastern Washington. The aromas offer interesting notes of lees, candied ginger, candle wax, cinnamon and dried flower. Medium-bodied flavors follow, with cinnamon notes on the finish. It's part interesting, part successful. Sean P. Sullivan
