Domaine Saint Andéol 2017 Red (Côtes du Rhône)

Notes of roasted plum and preserved black cherry are muted by shades of earth and balsamic vinegar in this wine. Tasted in January 2021, it's still concentrated in black-fruit flavors but shows maturity in lingering hints of mushroom, leather and forest floor. Drink soon. Anna Lee C. Iijima
