Ten months of maturation in 100% new French oak lends a delightfully creamy, lactic tone to this full-bodied, luscious white. It's not at all cloying though—there's plenty of tart tangerine and lemon flavor at the core, too. A blend of six regional grape varieties, it's a lavish but finessed sip that finishes on lingering notes of almond and crème fraiche. Ready now but should reward through 2028. Anna Lee C. Iijima
