Domaine de Savagny 2008 Vin Jaune Savagnin (Côtes du Jura)

Deliberately oxidized by being covered with a layer of flor yeast while aging, this is a bone-dry wine with intense acidity. There is little hint of fruit, just a marmalade-orange tanginess that lies behind the yeasty, almost tart aftertaste. The wine doesn't need to age, so drink now. Roger Voss
