Domaine Schoffit 2019 Tradition Muscat (Alsace)

This wine is austere on the nose, revealing salinity, lychee and grapefruit zest. The sip begins with that same restraint, defined by racy acidity and saline characteristics, but it rounds out to an intense, savory grapefruit-gummy flavor with a long finish. For an elegant but fun aperitif, pair this with pre-dinner snacks like olives, Marcona almonds and maybe a cheese or two. Layla Schlack
