Consistent with previous vintages, this is a lightly herbal, spicy Pinot, with a core of cherry and chocolate flavors. The generous midpalate is full flavored and stays focused on the fruit and barrel notes. Though not as complex as some of the other Domaine Serene Pinots, this one is very well defined and expressive of the site.
