Domaine Serene 2018 Triple S Vineyard Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

This is a winner right out of the chute, with a toasty frame around spicy blackberry fruit. There is a chocolaty finish with firm but ripe tannins. It was aged 14 months in 57% new French oak. It's young and will benefit from further bottle age to completely meld its components. Meanwhile, it's fine to enjoy for its freshness, fruit and beautifully balanced barrel flavors. Paul Gregutt
