Domäne Baumgartner 2017 Rosenprinzessin Zweigelt (Niederösterreich)

Tar, mocha and vanilla lean heavily on the black-cherry fruit of the nose. The palate brings juiciness, and the smoky oaky spice of tar sits well with the black fruit. This is oak-heavy, but it works due to the generosity of cherry fruit. The finish is dry. Anne Krebiehl MW
