Domdechant Werner 2018 Hochheimer Hölle Auslese Riesling (Rheingau)

Dusty mineral notes introduce this subtle, mineral Auslese. It's a richly honeyed, lusciously textured sip marked by pert lime and green apple flavors and balanced by firm strikes of acidity. The finish lingers on alternating waves of tart green fruit and earthen minerality. A bit nervous in its youth but should improve through 2030 and hold further. Anna Lee C. Iijima
