Domenico 2018 Vintage Estates Vineyard Syrah (Amador County)
Voluptuous black cherry and blackberry fruits are complemented by notes of crushed violets, chocolate, star anise, black pepper, nutmeg and cumin spices, plus a dried-mushroom umami. Tannins are smooth and fine grained. They add an elegant backbone to the wine, while acidity brings vibrancy and freshness throughout. It's a fun wine to pair with an equally decadent dish.
