Donnafugata 2003 Anthilia White (Sicilia)

This blend of local varieties Ansonica and Catarratto is open and soft, with full melon aromas preceding flavors of apple, cinnamon and baking spices. The finish is soft, almost to the point of mushy, but not quite. An interesting wine to drink this year; don't sit on this one. Michael Schachner
